Camosun Chargers men’s volleyball coach Charles Parkinson knows what it takes to win at an elite level. The Chargers are the reigning PACWEST champions for three years running, but as they prepare to defend their title this week at the University of the Fraser Valley, neither Coach Parkinson or his players are taking anything for granted.

Camosun College has been awarded $200,000 in start-up funding from the provincial Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills and Training to support increased access to web technology and engineering graphics certificate programs. The new funding will allow Camosun to increase the capacity of these programs, adding 40 new spaces by the 2019/20 academic year.
