College costs money. We can help.
You may need to find more than one source of funding to help pay for your education and living costs while attending college. Do you have money saved? Can your parents or other relatives help? Can you work part-time and still maintain your grades? Check out sources of money you don't need to pay back as well as those that need to be repaid.
Covid-19 Emergency Funding and Supports
Have you been financially impacted by the current pandemic situation? Are you facing some challenging situations and could benefit from a Camosun Cares Student Hamper? The BC Government and Camosun College have established a COVID-19 Emergency bursary fund to provide one-time $200 funding to support current registered students impacted by this crisis.
Money you'll need to repay
Many students choose to take out loans to finance some or all of their educational costs. Remember, you will have to pay this money back once you are done school, usually with interest.
Money you don't need to repay
If you can, take advantage of educational funding that you won't need to repay later – based on financial need, community involvement or academic achievement.
Other sources of funding
Different sources of funding are available to students who fit particular criteria. Access to funding may depend on the types of courses you are taking and other personal circumstances.
