In case of injury at the College, DIAL 3075 (24 hours) from a College telephone or 250-370-3075 from an outside line.
Your call will reach the college's monitoring company. Be prepared to answer questions regarding the accident/incident. Non-emergency inquiries should be directed to Physical Resources during business hours at 250-370-3041 or 250-370-3889.
Camosun's certified first aid attendants offer treatment and/or referral from 7am to 11:30pm at Interurban campus and from 8:30am to 11:30pm at Lansdowne campus. Each campus has a First Aid Room.
All injuries arising out of and in the course of employment with Camosun, and on-site student injuries must be reported. Off-site student injuries occurring during a practicum must also be reported to your supervisor or instructor who will assist you in completing a WSBC Form 6A to send/fax to Camosun’s Occupational Safety and Health Coordinator, Human Resources.
Fire Alarms
If a continuous fire alarm goes off, exit the building immediately, but do not run. Use only the stairways. Do not use elevators as you may get trapped. Take alarms seriously—though there are drills to test evacuation times and procedures, it may be real!
