What it Costs

An investment in your career

Invest in yourself! The following prices are our current fees and costs for international students studying at Camosun. Scholarship opportunities are available to international students once registered.

Refund Policy

Camosun International application fees are non-refundable.

Letter of Acceptance (LOA) and registration deposits are non-refundable except when students are able to show proof that their study permit application was denied. In these cases, an administration fee of $300 will be deducted from the deposit refund amount.

**This cost is for three to five courses. Students wanting to register for more than five courses will be required to pay additional fees per course. Students will also be required to get special permission from Camosun International to take courses beyond the maximum course load of five in any given 14-week term.

All fees are in Canadian dollars.

Course Activity Fees

Some courses have additional fees outside of the tuition amount. These fees are associated with additional costs for activities or for expert instructors and certifications for the courses. The courses listed below are examples of courses that have additional fees outside of tuition costs. Amounts listed beside the course reflect the 2017/2018 fee assessment. These fees will be subject to the 2% tuition increase each year.

Status Change

Students changing their status from international to domestic must submit proof of status change prior to the first day of classes to be eligible for domestic tuition. International students wanting to change their status in a seated program will continue to pay the international seat fee unless a domestic seat becomes available.

Penalties

If you don’t pay your fees by the fee deadline, a late fee penalty will be applied to your account.

  • If you owe less than $50, there will be no late fee applied;
  • If you owe between $50 and $499, the late fee is $50;
  • If you owe between $500 and $3,499, the late fee is $150;
  • If you owe $3,500 or more, the late fee is $300.

International students at Camosun can pay using the following major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, JCB and American Express.

Wire Transfer

You must go to your bank and request a wire transfer payable to “Camosun College.” Please note that your bank may charge you a fee for this service.

For Camosun's banking information required for the transfer, please contact International Admissions at international_admissions@camosun.ca.

Important: Before we can process the wire transfer payment, we need to receive an email with:

  • Your full name, address and date of birth
  • Name and address of the bank making the transfer
  • Copy of your completed wire transfer form (from your bank) showing proof of wire transfer and the date the wire transfer was completed
  • Amount of funds being transferred with details about what the funds will pay for (tuition fees, application fees, Homestay fees, etc.)
