The Athletic and Exercise Therapy (AET) Clinic is staffed by Certified Athletic Therapists CAT(C), CSEP Certified Exercise Physiologists® and is a teaching facility that utilizes senior Bachelor of Athletic and Exercise Therapy students. The AET Clinic offers fee-per-service appointments in immediate care, reconditioning of musculoskeletal injuries, and health risk assessment associated with prevention and management of chronic disease.
The goal of the AET Clinic is to motivate individuals to take an active role in protecting, maintaining, and improving their health.
Services include:
- Athletic therapy:
- Musculoskeletal and postural evaluation; injury assessment and treatment;
- Exercise therapy:
- Health and fitness appraisals including body composition, aerobic fitness, muscular strength and endurance, and flexibility testing; chronic disease management; pulmonary function testing; and functional capacity analysis.
Available to Camosun College students, employees and the general public
Assessments and treatments are provided by Certified Athletic Therapists CAT(C), CSEP Certified Exercise Physiologists®
Athletic Therapy may be covered by your 3rd party insurance provider with a physicians referral. Check with your insurance provider for further information
