The Chargers are the reigning PACWEST champions for three years running, but as they prepare to defend their title this week at the University of the Fraser Valley, neither Coach Parkinson or his players are taking anything for granted.

Camosun receives $200,000 funding from province to support tech programs

Camosun College has been awarded $200,000 in start-up funding from the provincial Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills and Training to support increased access to web technology and engineering graphics certificate programs. The new funding will allow Camosun to increase the capacity of these programs, adding 40 new spaces by the 2019/20 academic year.

Culinary Arts brings street food to Interurban

A new food cart new initiative is part of Culinary Arts’ efforts to broaden and deepen the educational experience for students with a distinct focus on applied learning. “This is putting our students out there on the front lines, a little outside of their comfort zone,” says Walker-Duncan. “That in turn sets them up well to enter the industry and succeed.”
