Victoria, BC - - Atlantic Towing Limited (ATL) is pleased to announce approximately $700,000 in funding to support a new, state-of-the-art marine simulator for Camosun College, a community college located in Greater Victoria, serving approximately 19,000 students. The upgrade will allow Camosun to offer a wider range of courses and develop a Cadet/Bridgewatch program, growing the number of marine professionals entering a vital industry.

So, he created the One-Week Job Project and set out to work 52 jobs in 52 weeks in search of his passion. He trekked more than 46,000 miles and raised over $20,000 for charity.

Twelve Camosun College carpentry students from the Nuxalk First Nation will celebrate the completion of their fourth-year apprenticeship level, at a special celebration in their home territory this evening in Bella Coola, B.C. All students who completed all elements of their apprenticeship requirements are being acknowledged tonight, five of whom have passed their Interprovincial Carpentry Red Seal exam.
