Fresh off her third and final season with the Camosun College Chargers, women’s basketball forward Mia Roberts is back into the swing of things – training full-time, coaching part-time and preparing for university life on the east coast where she will suit up for the Acadia Axewomen (Wolfville, Nova Scotia), who finished sixth at the 2019 U Sports National Championships.

Camosun College Foundation celebrates $100,000 gift from Victoria radiologists

The Camosun College Foundation has received a generous $100,000 gift from a group of medical specialists to support the Together for Health campaign. The donation from Victoria Radiology Consulting, Inc. (VRCI) will be directed towards lab space and x-ray equipment in The Alex & Jo Campbell Centre for Health and Wellness, currently under construction at Interurban campus.

Women in Trades Coordinator wins Education Leadership Award

Camosun is proud to announce Sarah-Jayne Roe, Training Coordinator for Women in Trades Training at Camosun, has won the Education Leadership Award at the Vancouver Island Construction Association (VICA) Awards ceremony.  The award recognizes an individual who has volunteered a considerable amount of time in the role of advancement of education for the betterment of the construction industry.
