A recent $250,000 gift from Concert Properties will make it possible for Camosun College to bring a “trades-on-the-go” program and Red Seal trades training to youth in these communities.

Community, Child and Family studies student Colleen Leppky-Robertson has excelled since starting at Camosun last year, overcoming initial hesitation about continuing her education. “I’d been a stay at home mum for 13 years, and I never ever thought I’d go back to school,” she says. “I really didn’t think I could.”
