ETP students showcase compost project – March 8

Employment Training and Preparation's vermi-compost project—Campost—will be showcased by ETP students this Friday, March 8, 10-11am in front of the Campus Centre at Interurban campus. Come and learn fun facts and compost fundamentals at the Campost info fair including why and how to compost and how to make a simple compost tea recipe. Take a quick tour of the on-campus worm shed, and pick up a free sample of vermi-compost.

Bridges program allows women to break the cycle of violence

School of Access community learning partner, Bridges for Women, has used its rock-solid formula to churn out graduates for almost 25 years. Plans are in the works to create an online employment training program that will reach clients in remote areas of the province who have survived violence, abuse or neglect. The Community Learning Partnerships Department works on site with Bridges to deliver English and Math upgrading and basic Computer Studies courses in a safe and supported learning environment.Need upgrading?

- College Prep (grade 11 & 12 courses) in biology, chemistry, English, math, physics
- English for Health Care Attendant
