Congratulations Camosun DECA Students!
Camosun DECA students took their knowledge on the road for the weekend of February 23rd to the 25th, traveling to the United States to compete in the 2017 Pacific Northwest Career Development Conference. As hosted by Bellevue College, students competed in a number of business-related case competitions and simulations designed to prepare them for their future. The college was well represented over the weekend and showcased academic excellence as they achieved many notable ranks. This year's regional competition in Bellevue, Washington was a success. There were 12 student competitors representing Camosun DECA and all of them made it up to the stage to receive a medal, a feat that is almost unheard of. An additional thank-you is extended to Camosun DECA’s chapter advisor Jenny Reed who supported the team at this event and a thank-you is extended to Amy Hoggard for her support and assistance from afar.
