WANTED: Camosun students interested in playing Rugby 7’s
Camosun College Rugby Seven’s Club Program - Men’s & Women’s teams - Camosun Athletics and Recreation is offering Camosun students (both male and female) the opportunity to play in one of the fastest growing sports in the world - Rugby 7’s. Coached by Canadian National team members, students will learn about playing and competing in this exciting sport. Practices will be held one day per week at the Interurban Campus. The goal of this club is to play in three or possibly four one-day tournaments against other BC Post-Secondary Institutions. This is a great way to meet new friends and stay in shape at the same time.
Come out to the initial practice on Sunday Sept 18th at the Pacific Institute for Sport Excellence (PISE) all weather pitch located on the Interurban Campus and learn more about the program.
Where: Pacific Institute for Sport Excellence (PISE) - Interurban Campus
When: Sundays 10:00am – 11:30am
Starting: September 18th
Tournaments: Proposed three tournament league - Oct, Nov, Feb plus possible fourth in March
No experience required: Club players are welcome to play on the Camosun Club teams
