They are a students-helping-students club that offers free and low cost tutoring options, class and study resources, and at least one event every Fall and Winter semester. Camosun College Student Society (CCSS)
The Camosun College Student Society (CCSS) was founded in 1990 by students to provide services to all students at Camosun College. The society has grown to offer many programs and services, including UPass, Health & Dental plans, Foodbank, Walk Safer and many more.
Co-operative Education
Many of the programs within the School of Business include a Co-op or Internship placement. Research shows that students who participate in co-operative education will:
find work sooner after graduation than their peers, and
earn more than their non-co-operative education classmates
Fitness and Recreation
As a student, you have free use of the College Fitness Centres. With a valid student card, this includes personal training and fitness centre orientations, change rooms and showers. Fitness and Recreation services and programs are available to all students on both campuses.
IECC
The Centre for Indigenous Education & Community Connections offers support services and Indigenous programs for Indigenous students and provides links between Camosun College, students, local Indigenous organizations and First Nations communities. Indigenous Advisors will help you make educational and career decisions so that you can move forward with your goals.
AET Clinic
We have our own Athletic and Exercise Therapy Clinic here at Camosun. The clinic is open Monday to Friday and is available to Camosun students, staff and the public. The clinic provides an applied learning environment for our senior year Athletic Therapy students.
Massage Clinic
Camosun has two massage clinics, one at each campus, which provide a learning environment for our massage therapy students. Appointments are available to Camosun students, staff and the public.
Student Services
At Camosun we create an environment where students learn to learn; are engaged in community; and acquire skills and knowledge that effectively supports them in building their future. Student Services can assist with everything from Academic Support to Health & Wellness to Campus Life.
