Short-term Study Abroad Programs

Short-term programs provide you with the independence of an exchange but over a shorter period. Most programs are offered in the summer and run for two to six weeks. Programs typically cost $3,500 to 4,000 and scholarships of up to $2,000 may be available.

Camosun and L’École Fauchon Culinary Program

L’École Fauchon Program

In the heart of Rouen, the first French city to be designated a "City of Gastronomy" by UNESCO, we've teamed up with L’École Fauchon to offer a fantastic program combining the world of culinary arts, cultural discoveries, and exciting workshops in the hotel and restaurant industry. In this program, you will discover the techniques of top chefs as well as meet producers and gastronomy professionals. Gastronomy workshops and cultural activities are conducted in English.

French + Gastronomy Program

At L’École Fauchon, you will discover the jobs of great chefs, pastry chefs, and chocolate makers. You will meet cheese producers, market gardeners, fishmongers, wine waiters... the list goes on! You will also have the opportunity to discover the hotel industry through visits to prestigious establishments all while learning the French language.
