Get ready for the fall term

Welcome new and returning students. Here is some helpful information to get you ready for a successful fall term.

Camosun student orientation

Check out this Camosun student orientation website. Find a helpful list of things to do leading up to your first day and get information about Camosun's welcome week, Camfest and a variety of services available to students.

Student ID & U-Pass

Get your student ID card and U-Pass. If you are a new student or need a replacement card, complete the online form and submit your picture. Pick up your card the next day at the library (bring government photo ID).

Just need to update your U-Pass? Go to the library with your current ID card to update your U-Pass for the fall semester.

Research help

Get started on your assignments early. Research help is available in-person (drop-in or appointment) and by email and online chat (Askaway). Check out this online guide to get started on research basics or register for a helpful library workshop.

Library Space

The library has desktop computers and laptops for drop-in use and study rooms that you can book online.

Quiet study is on the 2nd floor of the Lansdowne library and there is a silent study space at Interurban library.

Borrow books, journals, videos and kits in-person from the library's collection using your student ID card. There are also many journals and books available online

Writing Centre

The Writing Centre is located in both libraries. Book an appointment with a Camosun writing consultant.

Can't make the time for an appointment? Submit your assignment to WriteAway and get feedback within 48-72 hours.
