The business of government
Start in September, January or May!
Develop critical skills in public administration and governance including building relationships with diverse stakeholders and community groups. Through applied learning, you will experience different perspectives and objectives to consider issues in new and creative ways.

Prepare for a career in public administration
You’ll work through courses in public administration, government services and public finance.

Estimated tuition
Effective from September 1, 2021 to August 31, 2022.
$3,166 (domestic)
What to expect
The program consists of 10 courses starting in the Fall, Winter, Summer term. Program courses are delivered in a combination of online and face-to-face instruction. Evening and daytime classes are held predominantly at the Interurban campus and the program is taken on a part-time basis.
After Graduation
As a graduate, you are prepared to be employed in a variety of public administration settings.
You can also choose to continue your education at Camosun with the Diploma in Public Administration or enrol in one of the School of Business diplomas or Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting Major, Human Resource Management & Leadership Major or Marketing Major.

Government employees may apply for the Certificate in Local Government Service Delivery administered through the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing upon completion of PADM 112, PADM 227, PADM 230 and PADM 240.
