Youth Futures Education FundAward description
The Youth Futures Education Fund has been established to provide a grant to recipients of the Former Youth in Care Provincial Tuition Waiver, to assist with supplemental educational funding for expenses such as books, housing, utilities, or emergency situations.
The Youth Futures Education Fund provides living expenses to youth who have aged out of the foster care system and are attending a post-secondary institution on a tuition waiver.
YFEF is helping to remove a key barrier in the pursuit of higher education for a group that generally faces more challenges with less support than their counterparts.
