Award description

 This award is available to all WSÁNEC community members enrolled full-time at Camosun College and is living on one of the WSÁNEC Bands (Tsartlip, Tsawout, Tseycum or Pauquachin).

Criteria

You must:

  • be currently registered as a student at Camosun College
  • have Indigenous (First Nations, Métis, Inuit, or Native American) ancestry
  • have a GPA of 2.5 or equivalent
  • submit a self-written letter outlining your commitment to education and your plans to work with the W̱SÁNEĆ community following graduation
  • a letter of reference from a W̱SÁNEĆ community member that talks about your dedication to the community
  • complete the application form

Financial need will be considered.

Application process

You can apply for more than one award using the Eyēʔ Sqȃ’lewen (IECC) awards application form for each application deadline date.

Please note: If the deadline occurs on a weekend, applications will be accepted until 4pm on the Monday.
