Award description

This award, created in 1987 by Lyne England and the Spooner Family, honours an Education Assistant and Community Support (EACS) Certificate program student who excels in the promotion of health and well-being through the provision of high-quality care.

Nominations by faculty open in October (annually)

Criteria

The student must:

be enrolled in the Education Assistant and Community Support (EACS) Certificate program during the current offering or academic calendar year.

Most of the awards are given to students on the basis of nomination. You will be selected by your instructors or the chair of the department based on your academic performance, enthusiasm, participation and volunteer or work experience.
