Award description

This award recognizes a student nearing completion or who has completed any of the Health Care Assistant (HCA) programs and who demonstrated leadership and an excellent aptitude for caregiving.

Nominations by faculty open in October (Annually)

Criteria

The student must:

be graduating from the Health Care Assistant (HCA) Certificate program during the current offering or academic calendar year.

Most of the awards are given to students on the basis of nomination. You will be selected by your instructors or the chair of the department based on your academic performance, enthusiasm, participation and volunteer or work experience.
