Award description

This award is for an accounting student who is pursuing a CPA designation and has the top mark in ACCT 240 or ACCT 375 or ACCT 475.  

Criteria

Criteria

The student must:

  • be enrolled in the Business Administration, Bachelor's Degree - Accounting Major or the Business Administration, Post Degree Diploma - Accounting Option program during the current award eligibility period (May 1 - April 30)
  • have the highest grade in ACCT 240, ACCT 375 and/or ACCT 475
  • be intending to pursue a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) Designation
  • be in good academic standing

Note: The same student cannot receive more than one of the CPA Education Foundation Award in Taxation or the CPA Education Foundation Award in Performance Management or the CPA Education Foundation Award in Auditing awards.  However, the student can receive awards in the other categories.

A recipient will be selected based on academic performance. You will have attended classes at least one semester during the period May 1 - April 30.
