Award description

Apply at any time - no deadline. Coast Salish Employment & Training Society (CSETS) was created in 1997 through an agreement between 19 Coast Salish First Nations and 3 Aboriginal Friendship Centres, funded by Service Canada ASETS. The purpose of CSETS is to assist the member Nations so that they may gain employment training or attain funding that will allow them to be employable. Employment for our Nations is the main goal for CSETS.

Criteria

You must:

  • be currently registered as a student at Camosun College in any of the Trades programs
  • have Indigenous (First Nations, Métis, Inuit, or Native American) ancestry
  • have a GPA of 2.5 or equivalent
  • submit a self-written letter of 200 to 250 words that outlines your goals in your trade
  • complete the application form

Financial need will be considered.

Application process

You can apply for more than one award using the Eyēʔ Sqȃ’lewen (IECC) awards application form for each application deadline date.

Please note: If the deadline occurs on a weekend, applications will be accepted until 4pm on the Monday.
