This award is for a graduating student in the Carpentry Foundation, Certificate program with the highest overall combined theory and practical marks.

Criteria

Criteria

The student must:

  • be graduating from Carpentry Foundation, Certificate program during the time period of May 1 to the following April 30.
  • have the highest overall combined theory and practical marks.

Selection process

Awards are selected either by department nomination or from student applications. Students can only apply for awards with an application form. Students only need to complete one application, but must select all awards they are applying for from the awards drop-down menu.

It is important to share why you should be considered for each award. There is space for you to attach 3 files. If you need to submit additional letters of reference, you may email them to techinfo@camosun.ca.

Please detail your personal strengths, volunteering efforts and other community involvement as indicated is required by the awards for which you are applying. You do not need to discuss your GPA as we will look that up. Input for your letter of application is limited to approximately 500 words.
