This award is based on a piece of fiction written for a creative writing course at Camosun College.

Criteria

A student must submit a creative writing fictional piece. The piece is judged on its originality and effective structure. The student must demonstrate an ability to create and maintain a reader's interest, and effective sentence-level writing.
