Award description

This award is for any English student at the Fundamental level who has overcome significant obstacles to pursue their education.

In 2010, Keith Todd established this award in memory of his life-long friend, Richard. He wanted to recognize Richard's love for life, and to leave a legacy for Access students seeking to improve their literacy.

Criteria

Student must:

  • have been enrolled in an Access program or an Access course  (Academic Level - select Upgrading & Preparatory) for at least one semester during May 1–April 30.

Nominator must:

  • submit a short paragraph identifying, or demonstrated by example, how their educational pathway changed/influenced/improved their life.
