The community is your campus. As well as offering programs on both the Lansdowne and Interurban campuses, the School of Access offers courses at several off-campus locations around Victoria and Sidney.
Learn in a welcoming environment
Community Learning Partnerships (CLP)
Feeling unsure about returning to school? Community Learning Partnerships (CLP), a department of the School of Access, takes education to community-based sites to make it easier to begin or return to learning.
Students learn in a comfortable environment with other adults who share similar backgrounds and get help from friendly and compassionate Camosun instructors and staff. CLP can be a starting point in getting ready to transfer to on-campus college programs.
- CLP offers Academic Upgrading and College Preparatory courses in English, math and computer studies
- CLP offers online courses, including:
- MATH 052, MATH 053, MATH 072 and MATH 073.
- ENGL 050, ENGL 070, ENGL 092
Learn in an Indigenous community
We work with the Saanich Adult Education Centre and Victoria Native Friendship Centre in providing a culturally friendly and supportive learning environment. CLP also partners with Eyēʔ Sqȃ’lewen, Centre for Indigenous Education & Community Connections in supporting Indigenous student success with tutoring, advising, counselling, and referrals.

Learn in your own community
We work with local agencies to provide educational opportunities for their clients within the familiar community environment.
