I've been instructing at the post-secondary level since 2005, starting out as an undergraduate laboratory instructor. After completing my Bachelor of Science (Biology and Chemistry) and Master of Science (Biology) degrees at UBC Okanagan, I found myself wanting to learn more about adult education. I went on to take the PID Program and Certificate in eLearning through VCC. My experience in both of these programs further enhanced my passion for adult education, particularly in the areas of curriculum development and assessment strategies. I recently completed a Master of Education degree through SFU in Post-Secondary Curriculum and Instruction. In addition to teaching at Camosun, I am currently the College Director and an Instructor at the Pacific Horticulture College. I continue to be amazed by the wonders of life (especially plants!) and love sharing this passion with others.
