Camosun College’s Lansdowne campus is open as normal on Wednesday, June 29.
Thank you to the college community for your patience and understanding following the campus lock down on Tuesday.
Our thoughts are with the police officers and their families, other responders, bank employees and local residents.
Mental health supports are available for students or employees who may be feeling unsettled:
- Employees should connect with Homewood Health for free and confidential telephone-based, online, or in-person counselling. Homewood Health can be accessed 24/7 by contacting 1-800-663-1142.
- The Vancouver Island Crisis Line provides 24/7 support to Island residents 1-888-494-3888.
- Confidential student counselling is available in-person, video or by phone. Appointments are free and can be booked by calling 250-370-3571 or 250-370-4925. Here2Talk is another mental health support for students 24/7 via app, phone 1-877-857-3397 or here2talk.ca.
