Camosun welcomes new board member

Camosun College today announced the appointment by the Lieutenant Governor in Council of a new member, Gregory Atkins, to the Board of Governors. The appointment is effective July 31, 2022, for a term ending July 31, 2023.

Greg Atkins is a lawyer with Reed Pope Law Corporation. He is active in his community as the Director of Pacific Montessori Society and the Coach of Central Saanich Little League. Mr. Atkins holds a Juris Doctorate in Law from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Manitoba.

“It is a pleasure to welcome Greg to the board,” says board chair Dr. Monty Bryant. “All of our board members play an important role in contributing to the success of our students. Their backgrounds will be an enormous benefit to the board in serving the College and our learners.”

The Board of Governors administers the college on behalf of the B.C. Government and the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Training as legislated by the College and Institute Act. Learn more about the members of Camosun's Board of Governors.
