Winona Wood Memorial Award for Indigenous Women

Winona Wood was a university professor when there were very few female professors. She wanted to see women become independent and strong. She established what was originally the CENELELEN Award in 1995. After her passing, her family asked that the award name be changed to honour her memory.

Women's Basketball Teamwork Award

This award is to recognize a player on the Women's Basketball team who has demonstrated outstanding leadership on and off the court. A player that helps the team be successful by bringing out the best in her teammates and encouraging team cohesion.
