Globally, Spanish is the official language in 20 countries, and is the dominant language throughout Central and South America. A proficiency in Spanish can open doors to many opportunities for travel, employment and cultural enrichment. If you have an interest in Hispanic history and culture, you will gain a much deeper understanding if you can read and listen directly in the Spanish language.

Camosun’s small classes allow you to study and practice in an intimate, safe environment. You will learn from literature, film and art as well as the textbook.
