Diverse views of the world

Geographers examine the patterns and processes of human and environmental landscapes. Our discipline is both a science and an art, combining a broad, spatial perspective with knowledge and views from other fields of study.

In the classroom

Many students discover Geography at Camosun by taking one of our introductory courses: GEOG 100 Environment and Sustainability, GEOG 102 Human Geography or GEOG 111 Natural Hazards. Altogether, Camosun offers 20 different courses that allow you to pursue studies in five different geography categories: human, environmental, regional, physical and applied techniques.
