Camosun College is pleased to advise that on Oct. 26, a tentative agreement was reached in the negotiations between the Post-Secondary Employers’ Association and five BCGEU locals for vocational instructors.
This includes BCGEU instructors working at:
- Camosun College;
- Coast Mountain College;
- Northern Lights College;
- Okanagan College; and,
- Selkirk College.
This is a renewal of the 2019-2022 Common Agreement under the Province’s Shared Recovery Mandate. This agreement will not proceed to ratification until each institution has completed its local bargaining process, and details will be kept confidential to protect that process.
The B.C. Government is expected to issue a high-level information bulletin about the tentative Common Agreement on Friday, Oct. 28 following the BCGEU announcement.
