CFCS 141 Service Learning student group presents Community Stories: Breaking stigma and bias with the power of conversations
The Community Stories event includes invited guest speakers from across our larger community who belong to minority groups and often face stigma, bias, and discrimination. Register to listen to the story of their lived experience in 20 minute, one-on-one and small group conversation sessions. The conversations not only provides an opportunity to learn about the experiences of those in our diverse community, but also to face our own biases and stigma. Through conversation the aim is to create connections, to learn about one another and create a sense of belonging across our community. Register for one (or more!) 20 minute conversations.
