The Camosun Chargers Women’s Basketball team is excited to welcome National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III, George Fox University, to Victoria for an scrimmage game on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021 at 7:30pm.

The game will take place at the Pacific Institute for Sport Excellence (PISE) on the Camosun College’s Interurban campus. Entry to the game is by donation.

"We are looking forward to showcasing the new and returning talent we have to our sports starved community,” says head coach, Justin Thiessen. “I know our Chargers fans will be out in full force and would encourage those who haven't been to a game to check out just how exceptional these young athletes are against a quality NCAA program."

As a reminder, masks are mandatory in all indoor spaces according to guidelines set out by the Public Health Officer (PHO) and fans attending Chargers games will be asked to show their BC Vaccine Card before entering the gymnasium.

The Camosun Chargers Athletics Program currently fields teams in basketball and volleyball. Since joining the CCAA and Pacific West Athletic Association (PACWEST) conferences in 1994, the Chargers have competed in over 100 national and provincial championships with over 50 medal winning finishes.
