“Convocation is a time of celebration as we honour the outstanding accomplishments of every graduate,” says college president Dr. Lane Trotter. “It’s important to acknowledge the faculty and support staff who supported graduates through to the finish line as well as the friends, family and champions of each student. Congratulations!”

The theme for convocation 2024 is You Always Belong Here, a reminder for grads that there is a place for them at Camosun College beyond the conclusion of their courses and programs.

“Camosun convocation is an incredible day of celebration, achievement and excitement,” says Prince Solanki, Camosun College Student Society external executive. “As we celebrate our achievements, we also recognize the responsibility that comes with our education. It's our duty to make a positive impact in the world, whether through further education, joining the workforce or contributing to our communities.”

Four ceremonies will take place over two days in the PISE gym located on the Interurban campus and include the presentation of six awards.
