Registration is currently open for the inaugural Camosun Chargers Alumni Golf Tournament, presented by Richardson Wealth – The Conlin Group, which is taking place on Friday, September 30, 2022, at Highland Pacific Golf Course.
The tournament is the primary fundraiser for the athletics program, which consists of men’s and women’s teams in basketball and volleyball that compete in the Pacific Western Athletic Association (PACWEST). The cost to play in the tournament is $150 per person and includes:
- green fee,
- power cart,
- tee gift,
- and BBQ buffet dinner with an online silent auction.
There will also be many on-course games and activities from the hole sponsors.
“We’re extremely excited to host this inaugural event,” said Scot Cuachon, Manager, Athletics and Student Life. “Coming out of an adjusted season last year due to the pandemic, the Chargers are thrilled to provide this opportunity to re-engage with our alumni and community for what promises to be a fun and festive day.”
Net proceeds raised at the tournament will go directly to the Camosun Chargers Athletics Department to help with travel costs, scholarships, and overall athlete experience.
Registration is open to the public until September 16, 2022, and sponsorship opportunities are also available. More information and registration details can be found here.
For sponsorship inquiries, please contact Stacie Couch, Athletics and Student Life Marketing Officer, at email@example.com.
