Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) - Volunteers Needed!

Interested in gaining practical tax experience and helping fellow students?  Volunteer with the CVITP that will be occurring at Camosun in April 2025.  A volunteer with the CVITP prepares income tax and benefit returns for eligible individuals who have a modest income and simple tax situation.

If you would like to volunteer, follow these steps:

CPABC Q&A Webinar

Join us for a Q&A session with CPABC Recruitment staff.  You will have the opportunity to ask questions about the admission requirements of the CPA program, how to apply, and any additional questions you may have about the program.

This event is suitable for persons who have already attended a CPABC Information Session.

• CPAEF bursaries and scholarships
  Every year CPAEF offers a bursary program to BC students based on financial need with two deadlines to apply each year: May 15 and November 15. Scholarships are also available to students attending one of eleven BC post-secondary institutions that do not have named awards: applications are due May 1.
  Students can visit the CPAEF for application forms.

• Resources for CPA evaluation
  The materials include examination rules & regulations, examination blueprints and example cases to test your knowledge.
• CPA Certification program for Indigenous learners
  The Aboriginal Financial Officers Association of Alberta (AFOA Alberta), the Chartered Professional Accountants Western School of Business (CPAWSB), and CPA Canada announce an innovative accounting education pilot for Indigenous learners.
