The Value of CPA - S.M.A.R.T. Goal Setting

Join us at Steamworks Brew Pub in Vancouver for an enriching skill-building experience at this in-person workshop and networking event hosted by CPABC.  The workshop facilitator, Casey Chung, CPA, ACC, will help you discover the power of setting Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-bound goals to excel in your journey to becoming a CPA.

Online CPABC Accounting Night in Canada

Learn how to transfer your international education and work experience (accounting/finance) towards becoming a CPA.  Hear about the CPA program admission requirements, the structure of the program, and how to connect with employers in the accounting sector.

Special guest speakers from BC settlement agencies (ISSofBC, MOSAIC, and S.U.C.C.E.S.S.) will present on their resources for newcomers in BC for financial assistance, free mentorship, and career counselling services.

CPABC Q&A Webinar

In this interactive Q&A webinar, you will have the opportunity to ask CPABC staff questions about the admission requirements of the CPA program, how to apply, and any additional questions you may have about the program.

This event is suitable for persons who have already attended a CPABC Information Session.

CPABC Network Series Connect and Celebrate

Join us at this in-person networking celebration and meet some of the CPA speakers from our past events in 2023.  You will also meet CPAs who have recently joined our volunteer program.  All are eager to meet and network with you!

Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in conversations with CPAs and CPABC staff.  The conversations are yours to enjoy in this casual networking event, as you build your information gathering process, ask questions about careers and education, seek advice, and establish connections to broaden your network.

CPAEF Bursaries and Scholarships
Every year CPAEF offers a bursary program to BC students based on financial need with two deadlines to apply each year: May 15 and November 15. Scholarships are also available to students attending one of eleven BC post-secondary institutions that do not have named awards: applications are due May 1.
Students can visit the CPAEF website for application forms.
