The Chargers, coming off back-to-back gold-medal performances at the 2022 and 2023 CCAA Men’s Volleyball National Championships, vow to be a competitive host. The Chargers, perennial contenders in B.C., have earned 10 PACWEST titles in men’s volleyball since the 1998-1999 season – including four consecutive crowns from 2015-2018.

Camosun hosted well-attended CCAA Championships in 2017 and 2018, receiving highly positive reviews for their execution, atmosphere, and student-athlete experience. Providing transformative student-athlete experience is of the highest priority for the institution, and hosting this championship is the pinnacle of competition.

The tournament will feature eight teams from across Canada: conference champions from the PACWEST, Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC), Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference (MCAC), Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA), Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec (RSEQ) and Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association (ACAA), as well as a wildcard team and the host Chargers. Teams will be announced following league championships later this month.
