Rapid test kits for COVID-19 are available for students and employees starting Wednesday, March 2, 2022.
Student instructions
Camosun students can pick up tests at the library on either campus during regular operating hours. The kits are free, and each kit contains five individual rapid tests for students to take home. Rapid tests are an optional, time-limited provincial initiative for the testing of COVID-19.
Students are asked to present their student card at the desk for hands-free scanning by library staff. Camosun identification is strongly encouraged, but another piece of photo-identification will be accepted if it matches the C-number allocated to each student.
To ensure fair and safe test kit distribution for students, please:
- Do not come to campus if you feel sick;
- Remember your Camosun student card and have it ready;
- Understand that only one (1) kit is being provided per student;
- Do not ask library staff how to use the tests – instructions are available inside the test kit; and,
- Wear a mask in all public indoor areas including the library.
