Join for an open house to learn more about the student housing project

Westplan Consulting and Camosun College invite you to an open house to view information about the Camosun College student housing project and speak with the project team.

Camosun College is proud to announce the development of student housing on the Lansdowne campus. The province has provided significant funding to complete the project in the next few years. An application for a six-storey student residence has just been submitted to Oak Bay, and we want to hear the community’s thoughts on the project.

Open house visitors can park for free in the staff parking lot accessed from Lansdowne Road. A direct path leads from this lot to the Sherri Bell Hall in the Wilna Thomas Building. Additional parking is available in the main lot off Foul Bay Road.

Project facts:

• 6-storey student residence with a coffee shop and small student supplies stores.
• Over 400 bedrooms (1 – 4 bed suites plus dorm rooms).
• This housing is predicted to reduce student travel to campus by nearly 200 trips a day.
• The building’s frontage along Foul Bay Road will be designed as three narrow wings to minimize its visual presence on the street.
