About Natasha

Sing.gaay’laa everyone! I am Natasha Parrish. I am a Kyaanuuslii Haida through my mother and English settler womxn through my father. I was raised in Teechamitsa Lək̓ʷəŋən Territory in a large family. I graduated UVic with a Postgraduate Degree in Secondary Teaching and later a Master of Arts in Indigenous Nationhood. I spent seven exceptional years with the Sooke School District as an Indigenous Teacher at both West Shore and Belmont Schools.

I am excited to be working with CETL at Camosun College. Relationships and reciprocity are at the heart of my practice. I am excited about Indigenous education and how we can infuse courses with Indigenous pedagogies and content in authentic ways. Haawa.
