This award is for a nominated Nursing student who has contributed to student life in a meaningful way through mentorship, developing collegial partnerships, demonstrating initiative to improve a situation while in the nursing program. The nominated student must be enrolled in term 5.
This award was created to remember a teaching colleague, Patty Foster, who passed away in 2009.

- be enrolled in tern 5 of the Nursing Baccalaureate of Science (BSN) program during the current offering or academic calendar year.

Most of the awards are given to students on the basis of nomination. You will be selected by your instructors or the chair of the department based on your academic performance, enthusiasm, participation and volunteer or work experience.
