Many awards open at different times, so check each one for details. Check individual awards to confirm eligibility, as well as application instructions and deadlines. New award opportunities may become available throughout the year.

Only successful applicants will be notified.  Notifications are done via email through your school or program's main office.

When and how will I receive my funds?

If you are an award recipient your award money will be deposited directly into your bank account via electronic funds transfer (EFT). You will be required to update or verify banking account information in myCamosun, before receiving funds.

We strongly encourage recipients to express their gratitude to the donor of their award.

Thank-you messages are a chance to make the donor feel good about their decision and show that their generous gift makes a difference.

Some ways you can recognize their gift include:

  • Write a thank you letter (sample).
  • Write a personal thank you card.
  • Creating a short video message. (tips)
  • Sharing and tag pictures, videos and messages of thanks on social media.
