From Foundation to Apprenticeship
Foundation and Pre-employment programs
Foundation and pre-employment certificate programs run six to ten months each and provide a comprehensive introduction to the trade. These programs combine in-class learning with hands-on practical skills, making you well-positioned for entry-level employment or to begin an apprenticeship. Foundation programs also provide a head-start on apprenticeship training by covering the technical learning outcomes required in your first apprenticeship year. Foundation grads receive credit for Level 1 technical training as well as some of the required training hours.
