Distinguished Alumni Award
Camosun College's Distinguished Alumni Award is presented each year at the college's June graduation ceremony. It has been established to honour alumni who graduated more than 10 years ago and distinguished themselves by contributions made in their own particular fields of work and in service to community. The following criteria will be considered, and weighted equally, when evaluating nominees for this award:
- Professional accomplishment
- Service to the community
- Commitment to increasing their knowledge through lifelong learning
Nominations are reviewed by the Camosun College Alumni Board who recommends the award recipient to the college.
All persons who completed a program of study at Camosun College, more than 10 years ago, are eligible for consideration. If you know a Camosun College graduate who deserves recognition, please consider nominating them for an award. A completed Nomination Form with supporting documents must reach the Alumni Relations office by Friday, April 13, 2012.
