Replacement Parchments

Graduates may possess only one original parchment of their certificate/diploma or degree. A replacement parchment is an official reprint of the original Camosun College certificate/diploma or degree.

Replacement Parchment Notation

Your replacement parchment will look like the original, with a notation that says “Replacement Parchment month/year” in small print along the front and bottom. Reprinted parchments bear the signatures of the officials who are currently in office and are printed in the current style, size, and language. Copies of the original or digital copies are not available.

Reprinting Parchments

Parchments can be reprinted for the following reasons:

  • Original parchment lost, stolen, or destroyed
  • Original parchment never received
  • Original parchment damaged (original parchment must be returned)
  • Official change of name (original parchment must be returned and proof of name change provided)

To request a reprint, please complete a Replacement Parchment Request Form. Replacements are produced once each month and at a charge of $50 per reprint. There are no rush requests or pick up options available; replacements are mailed via Canada Post. Only one replacement will be issued per parchment/credential. Requests will not be processed if fees or fines are owed to the college.

If you require proof of your credential for employment or other reasons, you may choose to order an official transcript.
