Award description

The Health Care Assistant - Indigenous (HCA-I) Certificate program instructors will decide each year on the criteria for an award which will be given to a student in the program or any Indigenous student in the HCA program. Previous criterion has included such things as most improved, clinical excellence, attendance, over-coming adversity.

Criteria

The Student must:

be enrolled in the Health Care Assistant - Indigenous (HCA-I) Certificate program during the current offering or academic calendar year.
be Indigenous.

Most of the awards are given to students on the basis of nomination. You will be selected by your instructors or the chair of the department based on your academic performance, enthusiasm, participation and volunteer or work experience.
