Tuesday, Feb. 4, 6:30am — Camosun’s campuses are CLOSED on Feb. 4 due to heavy snowfall and challenging road conditions being reported throughout the region. All classes and services will be closed for the day.

Tika graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science Degree (Bio) in 1993, a Bachelor of Science Degree (Psych) in 1995 and a Diploma in Dental Hygiene in 1997. She also obtained a Master of Science degree in Health Studies and Leadership from Athabasca University in 2012.

Tika has 19 years of clinical experience in both a general and periodontal practice setting where she has had the opportunity to see clientele rich in diversity and needs. Her role as an educator began 13 years ago with the inception of the Dental Hygiene Diploma Program at Vancouver Island University in 2006. She began teaching at Camosun College in 2014 and is currently the third year clinic lead.  Tika is dedicated to providing rich learning experiences in a positive, supportive environment. She is especially happy to work alongside her highly motivated and passionate colleagues.
