This remarkable fourteenth win in 16 years solidifies Camosun's leadership in providing exceptional work-integrated learning experiences.

Each year, ACE-WIL acknowledges exceptional co-op students who demonstrate remarkable dedication, skills, and contributions in their respective fields. Molly Mifsud, an Arts and Science Studies student at Camosun College, has been selected as this year's honouree for her outstanding achievements and exemplary performance during her co-op placement.

Molly's remarkable journey began with a self-developed summer co-op work term at Tall Tree Health, where she exceeded expectations and showcased her adaptability, willingness to assume additional responsibilities, and eagerness to contribute.

"Molly's role changed significantly during the three-month period as she acquired new skills and demonstrated abilities beyond the expectations of her position. She was an invaluable asset to the team, consistently demonstrating outstanding flexibility and a strong work ethic," said JoeAnn Epping-Jordon, Director of Mental Health and Registered Psychologist at Tall Tree Integrated Health Centre.

Reflecting on her experience, Molly expressed how the co-op term significantly enhanced her teamwork, empathy, responsibility, creativity, and problem-solving skills. She attributes her rapid growth to the unwavering support she received from Camosun and the increasing responsibilities entrusted to her throughout her co-op term at Tall Tree Health.

"Co-op education has been truly transformational for me, providing invaluable experiences and opportunities to grow both personally and professionally. Combining classroom learning with real-world work experiences, I have witnessed the power of co-op in enhancing my skills, shaping my career path, and igniting my passion for making a difference, says Molly. "It has shown me that my true calling is psychology, where I can use my skills and experiences to help others be their best selves."

"Molly's dedication and success serve as a testament to the value of co-op programs in shaping students' futures and preparing them for meaningful careers."
