Overview

The Post-Degree Diploma in Socially Responsible Management provides students with the opportunity to integrate their existing knowledge, skills, and experience with principles and practices of socially responsible management. Designed for individuals who already hold a bachelor’s degree and wish to gain specialized knowledge and skills in the field of socially responsible management, the program prepares students to address the social, economic, and environmental challenges facing organizations and communities in today’s complex world.

Drawing on principles of relationship and reciprocity, students will develop the business skills and strategies to manage organizations with a focus on sustainability and social responsibility, including managing change, measuring impact, and community engagement. Students will be able to critically assess and implement strategic plans to meet community and organizational goals.

Applied learning opportunities and hands-on projects ensure students have a strong foundation in organizational strategy, with the skills to build respectful and effective working relationships. Students develop the ability to use the tools and technology necessary to ensure organizational effectiveness.

Students have the option of participating in a co-operative education work term, providing them with the opportunity to gain practical, real-world experience and build professional networks in the field while completing their studies.
