The Library honours Sept 30, Orange Shirt Day

Research guide, book displays and the new Authentic Indigenous Voices icon

Visit the Library's Orange Shirt Day research guide to learn more about the annual event where Indigenous and non-Indigenous people come together to honour residential school survivors, those students who did not survive, their families and communities, and to reflect on the far-reaching impacts of Canada's Indian residential school system. Join us as we take time for learning as an act of reconciliation.

Library resources related to Orange Shirt Day will be on display at both campus libraries from September 20 through October 1.

Look for the new Authentic Indigenous Voices icon & designation on bookmarks, in library guides, and when searching the catalogue. The Authentic Indigenous Voices icon is a visual signifier for people seeking Indigenous authored/created content from the Camosun Library. Visit the Indigenizing Citations at Camosun Guide to learn more.
