I have been a grateful visitor on the traditional territories of the Lkwungen and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples since 2015. As an International Student Counsellor, I have the opportunity to work with students from around the world to support their academic success and personal wellness. I am dedicated to providing a confidential and supportive place where students can discuss personal, cultural, academic or career topics.

I believe that the foundation of a meaningful counselling experience is a safe, non-judgmental and collaborative relationship where students can share concerns, identify strengths and solutions, and set meaningful goals. In recognition that change is a process that is unique for every individual, my approach to counselling is client-centred, holistic and integrative. I draw on a variety of counselling theories and methods in my work and am committed to meeting each student from a place of respect and compassion.

In my past life as a student, I attended Pearson College, an international school outside Victoria, where I lived and studied with 200 students from 100 different countries. This experience instilled a deep appreciation for diversity and intercultural connections, which I bring to my work with international students at Camosun College.
